Did the webcast ever start? I couldn’t get in….

It did. We had to start 10 (or even 15) minutes later because the service provider we were using was not able to get everyone in promptly. A totally frustrating experience I must say. I am yet to learn whether they also managed to mess up with the recording. If they didn’t – I will blog when the recording gets posted.

I guess having too many attendees is a good problem to have, but I am very sorry for the inconvenience almost everyone had to experience and especially for those who like you didn’t manage to get in at all.

Was this webcast archived? If so, do you have a link to the archive?

    Cheers,

    Ryan

The service provider dropped the line used for recording so the webcast has not been archived. Hopefully, we’ll find some time with Bob later this week and re-record it so everyone can watch. A lot of folks could not join the webcast due to the technical issues so I think we need to do this. I’ll post on the blog if/when this happens.

I too would be interested in seeing this archived, not that I couldn’t get in. I just completely missed it!

Thanks. Comments like these definitely help me push for the recording to happen.

Did the recording today. Should be on the web some time next week. I’ll blog once it is there. Thanks for your patience.

    Hi Dimitry

    Was this webcast ever recorded?
I was mainly interested in how to add a user to an Office Communicator server.
Yesterday MS announced the release of Office Communicator Server 2007 R2

Is there a powerpack for R2 yet?

    Best regards

    Henrik,

This particular webcast on AD and PowerShell? You should be able to find the recording here: http://www.quest.com/events/listdetails.aspx?contentid=5971&searchoff=true&technology=&prod=331&prodfamily=&loc=

There was another one we shot a few months ago at the Quest Connect event: http://powergui.org/shares/powergui/sbin/docs/Quest%20Connect%202008/Quest%20Connect%202008.html

Or do you mean the OCS & PowerShell one? I am checking to see whether this was recorded. Nothing seems to be available at the moment.

And finally on OCS R2 powerpack: can you do me a favor and ask that on the http://insideocs.com/ blog?😉 It is maintained by Curtis who is the author of the PowerPack – let’s start bugging him so he gets a new version out.🙂

    Dmitry
