WinHEC: Virtualization Panel Discussion

Next week is going to be a pretty busy one. Besides my AD PowerShell session at Longhorn Airlift (and participation in the ask the experts lunch session after that) I will be speaking in LA at WinHEC at the panel discussion:

VHD: Breaking New Ground with Virtualization – SVR-P337

From a solid foundational role among the Microsoft virtualization technologies, the virtual hard disk (VHD) has been discovered and successfully exploited in several other IT solutions. Selected solution vendors convene at this panel to share their insights and rationales for adopting VHD. A Microsoft representative will also participate to discuss the progress of its VHD Test Drive program and the direction for VHD.

Date/Time: Tuesday, May 15 11:00AM – 12:00PM
Room: 411 – Theater
Session Audience: Business Decision Maker, System Manufacturer

Needless to say this is partly related to the work we’ve done making our SharePoint management and resovery tools available as virtual machine images.

I know that PowerShell is not commonly perceived as a hardware-related technology so I don’t know how many PowerShell guys will be at WinHEC but looking at how F5 is using PowerShell to improve their devices manageability I hope there will be some!

Please stop by if you are at the show!
