PowerGUI in the blogs

Turns out there were a few blogs out there which had stories on PowerGUI before this blog even started:

  • I think Darren Mar-Elia was the first one to mention the project – Darren actually was Quest’s CTO when the project started as an early research idea – so no wonder he got the news first!
  • Jackson was the second. We work with Jackson’s group at Quest to help them PowerShell-enable (monadinize?) some of the key applications his group produces and release cmdlets for Active Directory management.
  • And Marco Shaw gets the prize for being the first one to use the words “Cool application” in the title of his post.

It’s amazing how the word gets spread out quite some time before an application gets launched.
