PowerGUI 1.0.11 features announced

Alexey has published the updated PowerGUI feature roadmap with the feature set for the 1.0.11 release slated for the next week. The biggest new feature is a stand-alone PowerShell script editor which you can use to edit any of your ps1 files – not necessarily the ones already integrated into PowerGUI.

This is going to be quite handy because you do need to do a one off script from time to time outside PowerGUI and having a free lightweight editor for that is something I personally wanted for quite some time. Looking forward to that release. Will blog here once it is available.
